About Super Bomberman 4

Welcome to a new adventure in the fourth installment called Super Bomberman 4. Control heroes to place bombs to defeat 4 bomber kings and Bagura.

The plot

After being defeated by bomber heroes in Super Bomberman 3, Bagura's brain is still alive. It summons the Four Bomber Kings and Bomber Great and asks them to help it take revenge. When all heroes including White, Black, Blue, Red, Green, Orange, Aqua, and Gold Bombermen are sleeping, a hole appears and attracts all of them. Besides, Honey the cowgirl and Kotetsu samurai have also fallen into this time hole. They return to the past and confront the Four Bomber Kings and Bomber Great. You must go with them and assist them in taking down evil bombermen.

All game modes

In this game, you also need to choose between two modes including Normal Mode and Battle Mode. However, the features and maps in these modes are different from previous versions.

• Normal Mode: This mode offers five main modes which are Primeval Era, Edo Era, Modern Era, Super Future, and Hyperspace. In addition, you should find the bonus stage entrances at each stage. Enter these entrances and complete 9 bonus stages to earn more points and coins.
• Battle Mode: This game mode has three small modes. They are Battle Royale Mode, Champion Mode, and Maniac Mode. In the Champion Mode, you need to fight against the Four Bomber Kings and Bomber Great in five matches. Each match has three rounds. The Maniac Mode allows you to change the number of items appearing in the match and the starting HP to suit your playing style.

The effects of skulls in Super Bomberman 4

During the fight, you can see many skulls. Remember that these skulls will bring negative and positive influences, so you should pass them to another player to avoid being unlucky. Here are the negative and positive effects that the skull can bring to you.

• Fast Runner Disease: It allows you to move at a fast speed.
• Slow-Footed Disease: It slows down your speed.
• Inability Disease: It stops you from dropping bombs.
• Lowest Disease: It decreases the explosion range of your bombs.
• No Stop Disease: It makes you move constantly.
• Hasty Disease: It increases the explosion speed of your bombs
• Leisure Disease: Your bombs will explode slower.

Note that these skulls just appear in the Battle Mode. You must think carefully before picking up these skulls.
